My feeling is that we’ve reached a point where design needs to mature. Less focus on naming trends and more focus on the fundamentals: color, contrast, typography, visual rhythm, materials, motion, and solid design systems.

I’m not interested in whether something is called glassmorphism, disco-morphism, or whatever buzzword comes next. I’m interested in whether it helps build better products.

The next evolution of design won’t be a new style. It will be a better integration of aesthetics, accessibility, context, and technology.
